A Prayer.

Father, this unruly wretch, forgive.
For You alone, teach him to live.
Destroy his sin and amend his ways.
Teach him to serve You all his days.

Though many storms and tempests rise,
Return his focus to brighter skies.
Forever guide his weary feet,
Unto Your eternal Mercy Seat.

Lord, defend his weary mind;
Let no ill thought in him be found.
His heart, to Thee, forever bind.
Stand his feet on solid ground.

  1. This is really awesome, Jonathon. You defiantly have a calling to be a writer. I love reading your blogs, you are a very inspiring person. When your writings get published, I will be first in line at the book store! ^_^
